The Tokyo International Film Festival would like to express our deep gratitude to Google for its financial donation to our festival, which will be used to cover the expense of measures we are taking against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) to protect our audience, our guests and our staff as we host a physical edition of the festival.
 
The Tokyo International Film Festival is held for the purpose of promoting both the cultural and commercial aspects of film, and this year’s festival will be extremely important not only for the film industry itself but also for creating a more positive post-COVID mood throughout Japanese society.
