The 33rd Tokyo International Film Festival will be held from October 31 (Sat) to November 9 (Mon), 2020.

The 33rd Tokyo International Film Festival is committed to carrying out infection prevention measures based on the guidelines set by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Japan Association of Theatre Owners, with the supervision of Minato Public Health Center.
We will take every measure to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to secure the safety of press members, as well as audiences. Under these circumstances, procedures for covering the events will differ from previous years, and we greatly appreciate your kind cooperation and understanding on this matter.
All members of the media need to be accredited in advance in order to cover the Tokyo International Film Festival.
You will need to have either "Press Pass A" or "Press Pass B" issued with a QR Code.

There may be exceptions.
* Please avoid using a shared email address (such as info@) as an individual e-mail address is required for personal verification for Press Pass.
* Members of the press who apply for Press Pass A are soon required to submit their coverage of film from the past one year.
* If you wish to have access to press releases and other information in the English language, make sure to select "English" from webpage language preferences, and use the English form to apply and register.
The final deadline for the accreditation ends on October 20 (Tue), 2020.

Information on where/when/how to receive your Press Pass will be posted on the TIFF official website and also sent to your registered email address at a later date.
*There have been cases of unauthorized sharing of Press Passes and false identity registrations in recent years.
These behaviors will lead to having your Press Pass confiscated and future applications denied.
